* "On the Move" Citizenship Award QUALIFICATIONS
The "On the Move" Citizenship Award became a part of the Motor City Bowl in 2001. This award honors a student-athlete’s commitment to excellence in his community, on campus, in the classroom, and on the field. The criteria used in the student-athlete selection process is:
- The candidate should display good citizenship off the field including involvement in campus and community activities and organizations
- The candidate should display outstanding sportsmanship and sound ethical conduct in his daily athletic participation
- The candidate should have leadership and athletic abilities that contribute to a positive team atmosphere on the field, in the locker room, and in the community
- The candidate should be in good academic standing
In addition to the award, Two Men and a Truck International, Inc, will make a $5,000.00 contribution in the student-athlete’s name to his school’s Athletic Scholarship Fund.
