MEDIA OPPORTUNITIES Detroit Sports Broadcasters Association Press Conference (December 10th) 3:00pm – 4:30pm
Head Coaches from both teams will meet the media at a press conference coordinated jointly with the Detroit Sports Broadcasters Association. Lunch will be served in the Atrium at Ford Field. Each Head Coach and a star player from each team will meet the Detroit media and have the opportunity to discuss his team, the season, and preparations for the bowl game. Players Night Out at Utopia Night Club (December 23rd) The entire team will be the guest of Utopia Night Club within Thunderbowl Lanes, located in nearby Allen Park from 6:30 pm to 10:00 pm
Kickoff Luncheon at the Atheneum Hotel Ballroom (December 24th) 12:00 noon – 1:30 pm AXA Advisors is the host sponsor, and the two Head Coaches will share the spotlight at the Atheneum Hotel in Detroit’s Greektown entertainment district. Guests include representatives of General Motors, Chrysler, and Ford, among an expected crowd of over 400. Team members and official travel party members are invited to attend as guests of the bowl. A grand luncheon is served at 12:15 pm (arrive at Noon) and the teams will depart by 1:30 pm. A team and travel party group of up to 150 will be guests of the Motor City Bowl. Motor City Bowl Official Pep Rally Wednesday (December 26th) 2:00 pm – 5:30 pm Atheneum Hotel Ballroom Alumni, fans and VIP's from both schools will join in this unique event featuring coaches, team bands, cheerleaders, ESPN talent, live band & DJ. It's a sure way to get the juices flowing. General public welcome - $5 cover includes snacks and a cash bar. Come show your spirit----- It’s Football Wednesday in downtown Detroit.
Motor City Bowl Game (December 26th) 7:30 pm Motor City Bowl 2007, the eleventh annual game, is a holiday feature for the entire metro Detroit area. At 7:30, on December 26th the Mid-American Conference representative will square off against a Big Ten Conference opponent in yet another great collegiate football classic. Gates will open two hours prior to kick-off. |
